Pet Boarding Now Available!
Our Boarding Location is in the Marwayne, Alberta area.
**BOOKINGS ON HOLIDAYS, LONG WEEKENDS, AND SCHOOL BREAKS WILL REQUIRE 48 HOURS NOTICE.
LESS THAN 48 HOURS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A "LAST MINUTE FEE" OF 20.00 PER DAY.
At Mutts N Scruffs we have a desire to care for your animals and give them a caring and nurturing environment.
We enjoy caring for your pets in their home and have offered our in-home service since we opened in 2018.
This has worked wonderfully for many families and their pets, but sometimes boarding is necessary or preferred.
Some dogs struggle in a boarding environment and become stressed and destructive. To ensure that your dogs have the best, most comfortable boarding experience with us we require a trial period prior to a stay of 2 or more nights.
For dogs that are not comfortable with boarding we offer In-Home Pet Sitting in the comfort of your own home.
Our Rates:
~35.00/night per dog
~25.00/for each additional dog when kenneled together
~20.00/night for the first cat
~10.00/night for each additional cat from the same home.
Please note that there is a 5.00/day holiday charge for all statutory holidays such as Christmas day, New Years day, etc.
*Payment for boarding is required paid in full at or before drop off
*Prices do not include GST.
What we have:
~A small boarding facility, spaces are limited so please book early!
~ 4'×7' kennels
~Raised dog beds in all kennels
~lots of bowls and toys
~A few large, fully fenced-in pastures for playtime, off leash walks, potty breaks, etc.
Please Bring:
Pet Food and Treats
**Please supply enough food for you dog(s) stay**
~Cats stay in our home, in a room set up for cats.
**Please supply enough cat food and litter for your cat(s) stay**
**We will need to be notified when you will be arriving to drop off/pick up your pet.
This is to ensure our pets are safely put away prior to you driving onto our property.**
**Please do NOT arrive at our property without scheduling your pet in**
**We do NOT take drop-ins**
*Drop off times are between 8am-6pm, unless other arrangements have been made.
*Pick up times are between 8am-12pm, late pick ups will result in an extra day fee.
**Any pets picked up after 6pm will result in an addition charge of 50.00 per dog, and 30.00 per cat.**
Cancellations
All boarding cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to check in. A full refund may be given if cancelling 72 hours in advance. You may be subject to a cancellation fee of 15% if you cancel last minute.
We understand that plans change for many reasons, and avoid charging cancellation fees on all our services when possible.
We will try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
Things to note:
All pet(s) need to be up to date on vaccinations *Including Bordetella*
Documentation is required and can be added to your profile under Documentation
Dogs over a year are required to be spayed/neutered
Cats are required to be spayed/neutered, this is not optional.
If your pet is destructive, please let us know! We are able to adjust kennelling situations that work the best for your pet and our facility if we are informed ahead of time. We will find out eventually but would like to avoid kennels/beds being wrecked when possible.
OWNERS WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY AND/OR INJURIES TO ANIMALS OR PEOPLE
Please inform us if your pet is reactive to other animals and/or children
We have children, cats, dogs, sheep, and other livestock on the premises
Cats need to be kenneled when arriving/departing
Dogs need to be leashed when arriving/departing
